Justin Cable

Justin Cable is a seasoned equity research leader with over two decades of experience guiding institutional-focused equity teams through complex market landscapes. He currently serves as Co-Head of Seaport Research Partners and Director of Equity Research, where he oversees research strategy and leads a team focused on delivering high-quality equity analysis and investment insight.

Justin’s career at Seaport spans more than a decade, having joined Seaport Global Securities as Director of Equity Research in 2014. Over this tenure, he has built a reputation for rigorous financial analysis and a deep understanding of equity market dynamics, helping shape the firm’s research platform into a trusted resource for institutional clients.

Prior to Seaport, Justin spent seven years as Partner and Director of Equity Research at Global Hunter Securities, where he played a key role in establishing and building out the firm’s research capabilities. Before that, he spent seven years at B. Riley & Co. (now B. Riley Securities), where he was recognized as a top analyst in The Wall Street Journal’s Best on the Street survey, laying the analytical and leadership foundation that would define the rest of his career.

Across his roles, Justin has developed broad expertise spanning equity analysis, corporate strategy, financial discipline, investor relations, vendor management, and compliance. He also brings strong capabilities in investment advisory, corporate finance, business development, and marketing—paired with a track record of operational excellence and team leadership.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance from the University of La Verne. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the University of La Verne’s College of Business, and was a prior Advisory Member of the Board of Trustees’ Investment Committee.

With nearly 26 years in the investment banking and equity research industry, he continues to be a trusted voice in corporate strategy and financial markets, known for his analytical rigor and leadership in building high-performing research teams.
